Google AdSense

AdSense is planned as a client-side integration only. It will not require server code, and PaintPlay will never store your browsing or upload data for advertising purposes. Google may use cookies or local identifiers to personalize ads in accordance with its own privacy policies.

Any data collected by Google for ads is handled by Google; PaintPlay does not add to it or share it with other services.

Google Analytics

PaintPlay ships the GA4 gtag.js snippet (ID G-PJZHTCC2X4) inside the root layout. It only reports aggregated interactions such as page visits, tool usage, and error events so we can ship improvements without identifying individuals.

You control Google's cookies and local storage through your browser settings or via Google's tools if you need to opt out of personalization. PaintPlay does not add any extra identifiers to the data Google already manages.

A consent banner appears until you accept or decline tracking, and Google Analytics only runs after you opt in. If you decline, no analytics requests are sent, and you can reopen the consent banner from the cookie settings button.

Cookies & Local Storage

PaintPlay uses local storage to remember preferences such as audio settings, brush presets, and undo history so the experience feels personal without needing a login. These preferences stay in your browser and are never uploaded to a server.

Cookies or identifiers required by Google AdSense are optional and subject to your browser settings. You can manage Google ads cookies through Google's privacy dashboard when needed.
